Ok don't want to miss out on capturing how much Maggie is changing! So here's a little catch up of her changes from newborn to 1 month old!

Newborn/Just born

2 weeks old....alert, alert, alert! this baby girl has too much action around her and often has trouble sleeping-- unlike most newborns....hmmm wonder why??!!! but we can't complain that at night time (the quietest time of the day of course) she is actually sleeping!

3 weeks old

We love, love, love you precious little Maggie Starks! It always amazes me how fast these sweet babies of ours change so fast, especially the first month! and really the whole first year!

Welcome Sweetness....Part 2

Ok finally working on this camera........little by little I'm making my way through editing all these MILLIONS of photos I have on our camera! So wanted to update more on Maggie's arrival.........

So one of the obvious big changes is we went from being a family of 5 (wow that really is a big number); and to now becoming a family of 6, oh my!!!! And of course with so many people it is nearly impossible to capture "the moment" just right......but regardless memories are still made of what reality looks like, having 4 children now 6 years and under!

yes.....our sweet baby is in that blanket-ha! if you look close enough you can see the top of her head....how did none of us notice that when taking this photo??......oh well, it's not like it isn't complete chaos trying to take a picture of 4 small children in a TINY hospital room....so not kid friendly!

and just some sweet ones of the kids loving on their new baby sister........to say they've enjoyed her is speaking way too lightly of this big change in their little lives! this sweet baby can't get a break! they are all.over.her!!!! it's sweet, but some days a little more wearing than once worrying if my 20 month old or 14 month were going to hurt the newborn baby.....really at those ages they were clueless and lived in their own worlds! but at 6, 4 1/2 and 3 1/2...oh no, they are all about loving, kissing, holding, talking to this baby 24/7!!!!

this big brother is smitten! for the boy who soooo wanted a baby brother, he has truly amazed me with his love and affection for sweet Maggie! they are definitely all smitten for sure, but there is something so precious about an adoring and loving big brother! these girls will definitely have a big brother to protect them and watch out for them!

all us girls!! can't believe there are 4 of us! we have outnumbered the boys!

these are two of my favs........the newly BIG SISTER in the family! she is so sweet to Maggie.....wanting to hold her and ALWAYS wants a picture with her! hard to believe my baby girl is now a big sister....since she was the baby longer than any of the others for over 3 years!

Blog....anyone??

So yes.....my baby is 2 months old and I've yet to post anything on this blog of ours since her day of birth! We are still here.....tackling day to day of care for 4 young children. And don't think my camera is lacking photos because there are lots of photos on my fun new camera I got before Maggie was born! Actually too many photos I'm embarrassed to say how many........so many I'm completely overwhelmed to download them onto the computer, edit, delete, etc. all that I need to do to finally delete them off the camera. Every day I see that camera and say "today I'm going to work on it" and then something else takes my focus or my time and then I'm just too tired to think about dealing with it! I have never let my downloading go so long.....I haven't downloaded it since Maggie was 2 weeks old; and now she's 9 weeks...sigh......so hopefully this week I really will get to it! 

Meanwhile here's Maggie at 9 weeks old......from this morning at church just with my phone camera while we were in the parlor room where all the moms take their nursing babies. 

Loving this sweet baby.....and I hear her now! She's so so so sweet and such a joy! We love you little Maggie Starks!

Welcome......Sweetness.....Part 1

Hello blogworld....it's been sometime since I have posted I know! We've been a little busy around here....having a new baby and all! Yes, a little over 2 weeks ago we welcomed sweet baby girl Willis into our family...........

 Me and my babies......I tried making a special day with them before our girl arrived.......just down time at home, reading books, a trip to the library, and just time together. This mama was sure sentimental (as I always am before a new baby arrives)......emotional over every little thing all day!

of course always emotional over who "won't be the baby anymore"......this big girl has been the baby the longest in our family for over 3 years now! but she sure is a sweet, sweet big sister!

Arriving first thing Friday morning.....November 30.........excited, nervous, scared, anxious, ready to meet this sweet new baby girl! Are we really doing this again??!!! Here we go!

our wonderful doctor! I've had a different doctor deliver all 4 of these babies......and Dr. Cunningham was one of the best! 

 

Sweet, sweet baby girl......we love you so! We are so blessed beyond all measure and thankful that the Lord has given us these 4 beautiful and healthy babies.........savoring and soaking in newbornness......for i know it all flies by too fast! so more later on Maggie's arrival, for now I'm going to savor and enjoy my sweet and precious newborn!
